On July 13, MHC Treasurer, Karen Bosko, will lead a ride out from the Gerbode Valley Trailhead, Rodeo Valley, Golden Gate National Recreation Area. This area is across the street from The Presidio Riding Club, where the coastal weather offers a cool breeze on otherwise hot days! Depending on the weather and the wishes of the group, we will either go up Rodeo Valley Trail for a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge then onto the Alta Trail (enjoying a view of the Bay while we walk through a eucalyptus forest, then down Bobcat Trail back to the parking lot at Gerbode Valley Trailhead. Or we will head up Simmons Road and pass the old military family homes, travel with Rodeo Lagoon on our right as we head to the beach. We will head back on the Coastal trail offering a shaded route back to the parking lot. This is a small group ride with up to 6 participants!
